In this new series, I wanted to give you short, practical tips for your business. I call this “The Business Minute”, and, as such, I’ll try and keep the videos short and sweet!

This week, an overview of Sole Proprietors.

 

Some takeaways:

• They’re one of the most common and simplest ways to set up as a business owner.

• They’re pretty inexpensive to set up.

• Unfortunately, they don’t separate you and your business, so if your business is sued, you’re also on the hook for any amount you might be getting sued for.

Like I say, they’re really easy to set up, and can be your first step into this wonderful industry we work in.
