Do You Need New Equipment When Starting Your Lawn Care Business?

Hi there guys, Richey Plemons of Plemons Lawn and Landscape. So today I want to talk to you about whether you need to buy new equipment when starting your lawn care business, or can "get away" with older equipment?

Sure, some folks might tell you to invest in brand new from the start, and while there's nothing necessarily wrong with that, I have a different experience of my own to share.

As I mention in the video, when I first started out, I used an edger and a weedeater i picked up for $40 - and I used them for all of my first year! The same went for my first mower, a little snapper I used for 6 months until I could afford more expensive products.

My point is, if you want to get into this business, but are afraid you can't because it's too expensive to buy new - don't let that put you off! Don't be afraid to buy what you can afford, work on your business learning how to do everything properly, and go from there.
